Beyond its beauty, the Masila basket is designed for everyday practicality. Thanks to its lightweight seagrass construction and sturdy handles, it works perfectly as a laundry basket or as a container for storing small items around the home. Material: Made entirely of seagrass, a plant fibre harvested from a palm-like plant grown on sandy beaches in tropical Asia. The leaves are separated, cut into strips, dried, and processed by hand, giving each basket a natural scent and texture.
Handmade & Fair Trade: Each basket is handmade in Java, Indonesia, by experienced artisans. As a fully handcrafted piece, slight variations in size, color, and shape are natural and part of its authentic character.
